Hi my name is Croí.
I’m 10 years old, from Tipperary in Ireland and hand make these Croítures from recycled materials.
Croí is the Irish word for “Heart”, it’s pronounced “Kree”.
Ever since I was 2 years old I’ve been setting up little shops everywhere. When I was 2 and a half I had a group artshow with friends, (they were 8 and 13 at the time) in Downtown Los Angeles. I sold my first 3 paintings followed by 4 more a few days later. When I was 7, I filled my radio flyer wagon with art supplies and hung a sign on the canopy that said “ART FOR SALE $2”. I would park my wagon outside the local coffee shops on the weekends and sell custom art to anyone who passed.
Every chance I get I set up a table with a toy cash register, REAL money 😉 and sell off my toys or art to family and friends. Even now, I’m making muffins and tea to sell to the construction workers near where we live.
I started making my Croítures in June 2016.
I went to my Gamma’s house where she helped me find fabrics in her studio and showed me how to sew them up. I made ten to start with. My Mama shared a video of what I was doing and suddenly lots of people started messaging from all over the world asking how they could buy a Croíture or two. So my Mama made me this website.
By the time the website was live I was sold out and got back to sewing a whole bunch more.
I have a lot of fun creating each one. I try to use only recycled materials as it’s good for the environment. I hope that some day I will make enough money selling my Croítures to buy Organic cotton or Bamboo stuffing and to find organic cotton fabrics I can recycle.
I hope you like my Croítures. Please scroll down a little to learn more about who helps me make them.
If a Croíture or two come to live with you please do send or tag me in your photos of them so I can see they are happy in their new homes.

This is my Mama. She is an actress and musician and helps me make my Croítures whenever I am stuck. She built this website for me and takes care of the Croítures Facebook and Instagram feeds when I’m at school or out playing. She also helps me when I ship the packages.
Gamma Mary is a Holistic Healer but she has a studio full of amazing fabrics and costumes from when she designed and ran a portfolio arts course as part of an “Art in the Community” project. There are also a bunch there from when my Mama went to Theatre College so I have lots to choose from. She helped me choose the best fabrics and buttons from her collection and helped me sew the first designs. Gamma also taught me how to knit 🙂
