Frequently Asked Questions
We hope that you will find the answers to any question you may have here on this page. If not, please don’t hesitate to drop us a quick email below. We’ll do our best to answer any queries as quickly as possible.
1.What are the Croítures made from?
I have a collection of fabrics that my Gamma and Mama gave me. They are all different. Some are left over from when my Mama made costumes for Theatre, some are those costumes cut up, some are from clothes that no longer fit my siblings and I. In some cases I use new fabric if a person wants a particular type of Croíture made.
All fabrics are pre-washed with non-toxic, perfume free Ecover detergent. Each product will have a description of what fabrics I used. I like to recycle as much as possible for the environment’s sake. The stuffing I use is a polyester stuffing. I will eventually upgrade the stuffing to an Organic cotton or Organic Bamboo.
2. How long does it take to make each one?
Every Croíture is unique but it generally takes about 2 hours to make each one by hand.
3. Do you ship outside of Ireland?
Yes. I can ship the Croítures to the U.K., USA, Europe and anywhere else. However, your order may be subject to import duties and taxes, which are applied once a shipment reaches your country.
Croítures cannot control and is not responsible for any duties or taxes applied to your package. You will be responsible for paying additional charges for customs clearance. Customs policies and charges vary widely from country to country. You should contact your local customs office for further information. Under certain circumstances, custom agents may delay delivery of some packages which is not the responsibility of Croítures.
